Operation Minx
Despite his stance with the council to do this himself, Aiden was impatient as he stood at the arrivals terminal awaiting the newest recruits. His mind often wondered if it was a good idea to even do this, yet he was in a bind. Inheriting his fathers shares at The Golden Circle left a huge burden on him. Yet, this was the only way out of his rather dangerous predicament. He had hoped to keep Light out of this life as they had grown close and yet here he was, wondering what she was up to at the estate, having left her so soon with so little answers. Emerging from the crowd first was Harmony. Indeed a woman of unique beauty with a dark cloud of danger following. She had taken this opportunity quickly in light of her delicate situation. Though luxury would come at a cost. This would be the only solution she accepted.
Aiden: “Ms Sandalphon, we spoke earlier. Welcome.”
Harmony: “Oh right! Thank you Aiden. I can’t tell you how happy I am to accept.”
Aiden: “Or shall we say relieved?”
As Aiden helped with her luggage, Harmony felt her heart pounding hard in her chest. Everything about her situation screamed suspicious, like it was too good to be true. But what if… it was so powerful. She took a deep breath, and looked around. The business of the airport; how mundane everything was compared to the secret life she was about to begin. Her thoughts were interrupted when Aiden waved his arm past her.
Aiden: “Bella, Crystal. Welcome.”
Harmony turned around to see two other women. Stunningly beautiful. Their bodies were like artwork adorned in tattoos. Exotic curves moved hypnotically with every step. She could see why TGC would also recruit such bombshells.
Bella: “Was about time Mr. Recruiter. This flight was too long!”
Crystal: “Don’t mind her, she is on her fourth martini.”
Aiden chuckled as he did the round of introductions. ”Ladies, this is Harmony. Harmony, meet Crystal and Bella. Get to know each other, you will be working together closely for a long time.”
Harmony smiled nervously. She had not often been the most social due to her lifestyle, yet she would take a deep breath and give it a shot. Why not?
Harmony: “Hey ladies! A pleasure to meet you.”
Bella: “Girl you are stunning! Is your hair blonde or white? Natural?”
Crystal: “My God!”
Bella: “What? The girl is gorgeous!”
Bella was known to not mince words. She was direct. Rightly so for her high position in the cut throat legacy of her family. Her presence demanded power and respect. Yet she was alluring. Easily talented in the art of persuasion. Her past professional troubles and her basic instinct to keep her family safe is what brought her here. She still remembered the day she accepted TGC’s offer. She would clear her name. She would accept this deal.
As the four stepped onto the escalator, only the various sounds of the airport moved around them. All deeply in thought of what was to come. Crystal clutched her purse. Excited but nervous. She remembered the day she picked up the phone to accept TGC’s offer. This was far from what she was used to, working as a masseuse “with benefits” at a five-star hotel. As the escalator slowly rose to the second floor, Crystal tried to focus on the present.
Their final stop would be to the entrance of The Golden Circle Lounge.
Harmony: “So, five years huh?”
Crystal: “That’s a university degree!”
The girls laughed as they got out of the limousine looking around in awe. The estate was breathtaking. A hidden gem in the mountains.
Bella: “Whatever it takes...” She turned to look at Aiden as he stood before them.
Aiden: “Let me get you settled in ladies. Right this way.”
